Sundazed was not started out of a business plan. It was born out of need to escape, create and rediscover myself.
Growing up, imagination was the only escape. I would play dress up, create different worlds, and find freedom in being whoever I wanted to be. As life unfolded, I found myself caught in environments, expectations, and repeated patterns that slowly disconnected from my individuality.
Throughout my life other people made fun of me for being different even though I strived in high pressure sales but never really fit in or felt accepted. I searched for an outlet that felt mine. My mother and grandmother were artists, but I didn't feel like it was the same fulfillment as I mostly worked on vision boards. I was unconventional in every way but yet found a way to survive so that were this idea was built.
After exploring other avenues and setbacks and lots and lots of times where I thought I would never bring this to life and giving up, I kept coming back to same thing creating.
And that is how Sundazed began: Not every pair is perfect. Not every idea works or even lasts. But every creation is uniquely its own representing more than just a fashion accessory but celebrating being unapologetically yourself. A slogan that is widely used but is known for individuality.
Our Mission: To celebrate the unique qualities that make you shine and express yourself in a world full of Ai and technology. Authenticity seems to be rare quality to find and why not express it in a one of kind way in which nobody can take that away from you.
We believe beauty isn't always found in the perfection, but what makes you imperfect. I mixed art with fashion to unconventional and irreplaceable.
Why Sundazed? Because self-expression should be for everyone.
I have taken two fields and combined them because art is not perfect just as humans are not and expression helps stand out when the world has ingrained us to follow society norms. There is not one way to be creative, confident, or different. That's what makes this so special. It will start with just glasses and build just as we do.
Sundazed isn't about seeing the world through the same lens as everyone else. It's about having the freedom and choice to make it your own way.
